In this module you’ll use basic shell commands to print text.

Running Your First Command

echo "Hello, World!"

The echo command is one of the most fundamental commands in Bash. It outputs whatever text you give it.

Your Turn

Now it’s your turn. Modify the following command to print your own message:

echo "Type your message here"
